REP Recall Notices
4000 and 5000 Series
UPDATED: 1/20/21
REP recently discovered a manufacturing issue with a small population of this product, including the bracket(s) on strap safeties. Those particular brackets are missing two welds, one at the top and one at the bottom of the safety bracket, which may present an injury hazard to consumers. Although no injuries have been reported, REP is conducting an immediate recall on this product. As a precautionary measure, the company is asking all customers to immediately discontinue the use of the strap safeties. We will be providing free replacement brackets as soon as possible to those customers affected by this recall.
